Railroad contact line refers to the metal contact line in the overhead contact network of the electrified railroad which is in contact with the pantograph slide plate of the locomotive and transmits the current, and it is mainly responsible for providing electric power for the electric locomotive on the electrified railroad, and it is one of the key equipments of the electrified railroad.
This product offers the highest commercial-grade conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and good wear characteristics. Trolley wire or contact wire is a single conductor, solid copper, having a hard drawn temper, with different profiles and sections and it is offered according all major specifications (ASTM, DIN, UIC, NFC, BSS, etc)..
